Men are the traditional bread earners and their health affects the over all family. Men, hence, should maintain their health and fitness and should follow good eating and exercising habits. They should keep a check on their stress and cholesterol levels. Men are more prone to disease then women, as is researched by the Center for Disease Control of the CDC. Men should eat plenty of fruit and vegetables and protein rich meat, this offers them their daily dose of energy required to work. They should have plenty of water. Smokers should reduce, if not stop, smoking. Men should keep their weight in check and should regularly follow and exercise regime. Men should also keep and eye on their sugar and blood levels. Men should also moderate alcohol consumption. Practicing Yoga helps unwind and reduce stress to a very large extent. Men should drink plenty of fluids, since men sweat more than women. Overall a six month regular check up is advised for men over thirty to keep them in shape and on the right health plan and fitness regimes.
